Volunteers -Social Food Pantry Assistants
Our Social Food Pantry (PSN’s version of a foodbank) provides essential food support to many people in our community every week. We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including preparing food parcels, stocking our kai-space, receiving deliveries, assisting with food rescue, and warmly welcoming members of our community.
No two days are the same. If you have one morning a week to give, are organised, communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds, and have a genuine passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a rewarding opportunity to get involved in your local community and make a practical, meaningful difference in people’s lives.
What you’ll need:
· Organised and reliable
· Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people
· Able to commit to one morning session per week for a minimum of 3 months
· Physically fit
· Aged 18 years or over
