Welcome to the Community Relations team, where every effort is a step towards nourishing bodies, building spiritual wellbeing, and strengthening communities.

Our collaborative initiative at 1207 Dominion Rd, Mt Roskill, called Communities Feeding Communities, embodies the vision of ensuring access to affordable, nourishing food for all. In the wake of unprecedented current challenges, it became clear that many families faced food insecurity for the first time. Recognising the need for sustainable solutions, we have joined forces with community leaders, social workers, and educators to create pathways to food security with dignity.

Our mission extends beyond providing physical nourishment though. We strive to nurture spiritual and mental wellbeing along with fostering meaningful relationships, in alignment with Te Whare Tapa Whā . Together, we're not just feeding families – we're building resilient communities where everyone thrives.

Other aspects of the Community Relations team’s work includes our engagement with church and schools, enabling them to add to the wellbeing of the community through service learning projects and other contributions.

We also value our relationship with the Presbyterian Church’s congregations and Chaplains in our region. This includes engaging the expertise and skills of our four services, Enliven, Family Works, Shine and Lifeline, in ways that will support and resource their work.
