Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity
As an Enliven Support Worker, you will visit clients (elderly, disabled, individuals in recovery) in their homes to help them with a range of personal cares (showering, dressing), issuing medication, wound dressing, meal preparation, home help, and assistance with community activities. The care and support required will depend on the specific needs of the client. You will keep up to date with and deliver support in line with the agreed care plan.

Requirements are below:
- We are looking for a Support Worker to fill the following shifts: 64 hours per fortnight (32 hours per week), split shifts between the hours of 08.00am - 19.30pm, working on a Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in and around Central, East and West Rotorua areas.
- A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible work visa
- A full New Zealand driver's licence and a reliable vehicle that you are prepared to drive to and between clients (We can not accept International drivers licences)
- Can accommodate flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Clear English language skills - able to read English instructions and plans and speak clearly in English to clients and colleagues
- Strong customer service skills - are good at interacting with a wide range of people and enjoy helping people
- High-quality standards and ability to adhere to professional standards, policies and practices
- Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery
- Confident to visit a range of clients in their homes and provide them with a range of care and support

- As a Support Worker under an Accredited Employer Work Visa the minimum number of guaranteed hours we will offer you is 30 hours per week.
- Paid between $26.78 - $29.97 per hour dependent on your qualifications
- Estimated gross earnings per fortnight, based on 64 hours per fortnight would be between $1713.92 - $1918.08, additional to your hourly rate you will also receive a mileage allowance for travel between client locations.
