This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that keeps our pantry running smoothly and ensures food gets to those who need it most.
Volunteer Shifts Available:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and /or Fridays | 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
Pack food parcels and fresh produce packs for distribution
Unpack and sort donations, including weekly deliveries (potatoes, onions, Kiwi Harvest items)
Restock pantry shelves and manage inventory
Clean and prepare produce from our on-site garden team
Assist with general cleaning (pantry, kitchen, fridges, and freezers)
What We’re Looking For:
Aged 18 or over
Physically able and happy to roll up your sleeves
Organised, reliable, and a team player
Comfortable working in a busy, task-focused setting
Able to commit to at least 1 x shift per week for a minimum of 3 months
