Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity
Our Whangarei based service is seeking a social worker (a graduate is preferred) to provide fixed term parental leave cover until February 2027.

• Are familiar with strength-based practice principles

• Ideally with some experience working with children, with families, and in group settings

• Thrive in a busy multi-disciplinary team

• Show exemplary professional practice

• Have outstanding communication and people skills

• Knowledge of tikanga Maori an advantage.

• Assessment and counselling abilities.

• Registered with a professional body -SWRB

In addition, you will have great computer skills, a reliable car and a full and current NZ driver licence.
