Help save lives through meaningful, nationwide fundraising
Lifeline provides essential mental health support to people across Aotearoa New Zealand — and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to do this vital work. We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to help maintain and grow the funding that makes Lifeline’s services possible.
This 12-month fixed-term role plays a key part during a period of change as Lifeline continues to evolve its services and funding model.
You will be responsible for delivering a diverse mix of fundraising activity nationwide, with a strong focus on donor stewardship, acquisition, and high-value relationships.
Your portfolio will include:
Individual giving and regular giving programmes
Community and peer-to-peer fundraising
Corporate fundraising, sponsorship and events
Major donor and high-value supporter engagement
Key responsibilities
Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing donors and corporate sponsors
Deliver two donor acquisition campaigns and associated fundraising events
Develop new, innovative fundraising initiatives, particularly in the peer-to-peer and corporate space
Identify and secure new high-value corporate and individual supporters
Work collaboratively to position Lifeline as the mental health charity of choice across Aotearoa
Ensure fundraising activity aligns with Lifeline’s values, brand and strategic direction
About you
You are an experienced fundraiser who thrives on building meaningful relationships and creating impactful fundraising campaigns. You will bring:
Proven experience in fundraising, ideally across multiple income streams
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with corporate sponsors and high-value donors
Creativity, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects
A genuine commitment to Lifeline’s mission and to improving mental health outcomes in Aotearoa
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
A full NZ drivers licence
