Te Kowhiringa | The Opportunity
As a Support Worker, you will work alongside clients with a range of support needs, helping them live independently and safely in their own homes. No two days are the same, and every shift makes a meaningful difference.
Your support will include:
Helping with domestic duties such as shopping, meal preparation and housework
Assisting with activities of daily living
Providing personal care, including showering and dressing
Medication oversight/assistance
Carrying out client cares in line with individual Support Plans

Have a genuine, caring and respectful nature
Strong customer service skills and enjoyment in helping people
Be physically fit
Be available to work rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends (Monday–Sunday)
Whilst full training is given in this role, having some exposure to aged care or the health sector would be highly advantageous
Have good English communication and comprehension skills - you are following written instructions.
Hold a full NZ driver’s licence (no international drivers’ licences)
Have full rights to work. Work visas are accepted, provided there is at least 12 months remaining on the visa.
