Service Evaluation Manager
Lead organisational impact, research, evaluation, and performance measurement strategies. Deliver high-quality insights, data, and reporting across PSN services.
Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us
We believe that everyone should be able to actively contribute to their community and thrive. Presbyterian Support Northern (PSN) is a not-for-profit organisation, stretching from Taupō to Whangārei, providing critical health and social services to people and whānau across Te Ika-a-Māui. We are known for our core services — Enliven, Family Works, Lifeline and Shine.
Everything we do is guided by our purpose: to enable our clients to have a better life, and by our values of Hope, Trust & Integrity, Compassion, Partnership, and Tangata Whenua.
Our Central Support Services team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation operates with excellence, integrity, and evidence-informed practice, so our services can deliver the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve.
Te Kowhiringa | The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Service Evaluation Manager to lead PSN’s approach to organisational research, impact measurement, evaluation, and knowledge management.
In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of evidence-based practice and ensure that high-quality insights guide decision-making, service improvement, and long-term sustainability. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and lead a dedicated team of three who are committed to delivering robust evaluation, analytics, and organisational learning. You will support Senior Management with KPI reporting and data management, lead evaluation projects, and ensure we capture meaningful information about the journeys and outcomes of our clients.
You will work across all PSN services — Social, Health & Disability, and our training arm BCD — to embed evaluation frameworks and ensure insights are translated into practice. You will nurture capability, promote collaboration, and ensure high-quality evaluation outputs that support strategic organisational goals.
