Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity
This part -time role you will be working in a local school/s setting, working with a case load of families, providing early intervention and preventive social work services to vulnerable children and teens, and their whanau. This includes individual and group work, and using our strengths-based, multi-systemic approach to encourage positive and lasting change.
This role also is required to support with the Parenting in Prisons programmes.

- Are familiar with strength-based practice principles
- Experienced in working individually with children, with families, and in group settings
- Thrive in a busy multi-disciplinary team
- Show exemplary professional practice
- Have outstanding communication and people skills
- Knowledge of tikanga Maori an advantage.
- Assessment and counselling abilities.
- Registered with SWRB
