Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity
We need a proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to take ownership and responsibility. A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with empathy, efficiency and capability. No two days will be the same in this busy and complex environment so being able to spin multiple plates at any one time is essential. You have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and enjoy working across both BAU and project-based HR initiatives.
Reporting to the Systems & Admin Manager, you will collaborate with the wider People and Culture team to:
- Support the People and Culture team in the delivery of a high-quality, efficient HR service across the business
- Maintain accurate employee records in our personnel files
- Support recruitment processes including advertising roles, arranging interviews, and liaising with candidates
- Respond to HR queries (Level 1) from employees and line managers, escalating where necessary
- Support Learning and Development activities including internal/external training coordination, LMS updates, Central Induction administration, venue bookings, catering, and resource preparation
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe I Your Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of HR or payroll processes, or relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a P&C or Payroll admin role (or similar)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
